Small Town Therapy is a collaboration between Bay Area multi-instrumentalists Adam Roszkiewicz and Leif Karlstrom. The duo plays string music that emphasizes compelling, thoughtful compositions and virtuosic improvisation.

Adam and Leif met in the vibrant Bay Area acoustic music scene, where they perform and record with bluegrass, country, classical, and jazz groups, including 2012 Rockygrass, and 2013 Telluride band competition winners Front Country and the 2012 Grammy-nominated Modern Mandolin Quartet.  Small Town Therapy began during music-writing sessions in a tiny apartment in San Francisco’s Mission district in 2011, and has been building momentum since. Their music reflects a diverse local culture defined by innovation and eclecticism.  Small Town Therapy’s music is anchored in tradition but is distinct, fresh and complex, like the Bay Area itself.
